I’m staying here
I’m in a house alone in a-Berkeley
On my own
And you’re in Beijing
Because you needed to work, and
I’m
here
so
I
can
sing
And sometime it’s great
Like when a real hard rain is falling
And I’m feel inspired
But sometimes I’m tired
Hey, sometimes
I can’t take it!
I was confused
There were just too many choices for my little head
It made me feel afraid
So I looked for you, and
I
saw
you
board
the
plane
And leave me here
Because you heard me say
I want to have my own car-reer
Alone with this fear
That I’m too dumb to make it
Can you believe it?
That’s what I thought.
I’m too dumb.
Oh.
And look at me now
It’s been just two months
And I already sing too loud
I’ve got so much to do to prove
To myself that
I
am
as
brave
as
you
And sometimes I’m great
Like when a real hard rain is falling
And I feel inspired
But sometimes I’m tired
Hey, sometimes
I can’t take it!
I want you here
But I’m making lots of progress
Since I let you go
So I put your picture by my bed
And when I say goodnight
I
kiss
it
so
hard
you’ll
know
