| BARBARA BRUSSELL is a brilliant performer, just now coming in to her own. She has that special thing.... innate talent, a very strong presence, star quality. Her time has come and the attention she is commanding these days is well deserved. Barbara Brussell is totally unique. She has known Ric Masten most of her life, attending his readings and concerts as a teenager. Best friends with his three daughters, you could almost say she grew up at his knee. And now, all these years later she takes his songs, breaths new life into them, so that they can take to the sky and fly again.
